Overview

A construction site supervisor is responsible for monitoring the use of plant, equipment or machinery; maintaining supplies of materials to meet project requirements; controlling work against agreed standards; and contributing to the control of work quantities and costs.

Candidates must have a sound knowledge of all mandatory units, including health and safety, co-ordinating work schedules and maintaining the dimension accuracy of work. In addition, there are optional units ranging from historical restoration to demolition, to ensure candidates have the correct skills for the job in hand.

Candidates will be assessed to the industry recognised National Occupational Standards (NOS) that have been developed by the Sector Skills Council (SSC).

Pass Requirements

Complete 14 Mandatory Units, with the choice of adding Optional Units.
