Overview
Senior management positions encompass a range of responsibilities that make the role challenging and interesting. Senior managers work to keep construction projects on track and within specification and budget. Effective people management skills are crucial to success.
Candidates main duties include:
- Operational planning and development
- Resource management
- Budget overview
- Grievance procedure handling
- Quality assurance
- Adherence to legal requirements
A senior manager will also be responsible for their organisation’s reputation locally and will be actively looking to develop business opportunities as a high level representative of the organisation.
Candidates will be assessed to the industry recognised National Occupational Standards (NOS) that have been developed by the Sector Skills Council (SSC).
Pass Requirements
To attain the qualification candidates must complete 15 Units in total. This comprises:
